To record a voicemail greeting on the OJIT VoIP service you need to do the following:

Please note that this can only be done from a phone/handset that has been provided by OJIT.

• From your phone dial 666 #
• When prompted, enter your extension number
• When prompted, enter your voicemail password followed by the # key – e.g. if your password is 0000 then you would enter 0000#
• Press 9 to enter the options

When you dial “9” for options, the following options will be announced by the voicemail system. Dial the respective numbers to change and update these features:

Dialing “1” allows you to change your profile status.
Dialing “3” allows you to dial a number.
Dialing “4” allows you to delete all read messages.
Dialing “5” allows you change your self-identification message.
Dialing “6” allows you to play mailbox information.
Dialing “7” allows you change your voicemail PIN number.
Dialing “8” allows you to change your greeting message.
Dialing “9” allows you to restart the voice menu prompts.

To change the greeting please press option 8 and follow the prompts.

That’s it, hang up and you’re done. Just make sure you test it to make sure that it has worked properly.
